Tony Moly! Featuring Super Junior M and Victoria!

I was looking for new fodder to blog about. I've been feeling very distressed that I haven't had my fix of dramas for a while. And writing reviews/recaps of "We Got Married Global" just wasn't coming along anymore. I mean, how are you supposed to write recaps when the show is already done?? I felt that the end was spoiled already.

Anywhoo...I guess you're wondering when I'm going to get to the point. I was searching the net for news on CC cream cause that's really hot right now and I found news about Tony Moly, K-Pop group Super Junior M and a member from f(x) named Victoria.

Super Junior M (minus Eunhyuk)

What do these three have in common? Well, it looks like Asian beauty line, Tony Moly, will be refreshing their ads with Super Junior M and Victoria. You will probably be seeing them in store ads, print ads, commercials, promotions. (I'm just thinking of all the mediums they use to push their products. Who knows if they will do anything different?)

For those not very familiar with all the different sub groups to Super Junior, and honestly I'm still learning myself since I'm a fairly new fan, the group itself is split into different sub groups to target certain markets in Asia. (Gosh, my profession is really talking!) Super Junior M is their sub group for the Chinese market (M for Mandarin, or so I'm told.). They consist of members Kyuhyun, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Henry, Siwon, Ryeowook, Sungmin, Zhou Mi, and former member Hangeng. (Absolute heart stopping handsome guys. Plus, they can sing you to the point of meltdown. ELF's all over know this first hand. LOL!)

K-Pop group f(x)

Victoria, well, much simpler explanation. She's the leader of K-Pop group f(x), and is one of three members not of Korean descent. (She was born in China.) She's known for her beauty and talent. And her group's beautiful members, with their catchy techno pop mixed in with the proverbial rap vibe makes them stand out from the rest of the clutter of idols. (All I gotta say is that Amber has got skillz!) But, I know her best as Nichkhun's wife on "We Got Married". Can you tell I'm a fan of "We Got Married"?

Back to Tony Moly. If you haven't heard of them, you're either not Asian or you don't live anywhere near Asia. They are one of the leaders in the cosmetics, facial and body care. What really grabs the attention of the shopper are their cute packaging (apple and lemon shaped hand lotion containers) and interesting ingredients (snail slime in lotions?).

They had formerly featured another K-Pop group, JYJ, in all their advertisements.

Both Super Junior M and Victoria are rumoured to have finished their photo shoots for the cosmetics brand. Looking forward to seeing them plastered all over!

Update: Working on a few things...

Hello hello! Just wanted to give you all a quick update on a some of the things I am working on.

1) Romantic and the Idol Season 2 Episode 4
I am finding bits and pieces of the show every day, so I'm trying to watch them and piece them together at the same time. From what I've seen so far, it looks exciting! I'll have a review up by the weekend for sure!

2) Health, Beauty and Fashion
I am going to venture into this unknown territory to me. I figure, if I am going to blog about K-Pop, K-Dramas and Korean culture, I might as well figure out what's so hot about these trends or products that come from Korea and how they are faring in American culture (to start). I went into my first Korean cosmetics store this past weekend and it was very interesting. (in a good way of course) Wanted to share my thoughts on that and on some of the products I'm trying.

3) Food
Yes, I have a tab that says "food" on my blog. It's always been my intent to somehow migrate all my relative posts there, but until I figure out how, it'll be blank. Sorry! It's trial and error for me. But there are more posts coming about food for all of you that are interested.

4) Music
I'll be giving my take on some of my favorite artists' new albums or singles that had just come out.
